I made it!!

Yes!I am writing from my very own bedroom,
in .....

you got it..

After getting up before the crack of dawn...

picked up by some very faithful freinds, (Curt and Char)
I was rushed to the Portland airport to catch the flight out at 6:30........A....M....!!

We flew over some beautiful snow covered mountains.
Awesome view~

I made it all the way to Minneapplolis Minesota..
on a cracker and orange juice!!

So much for breakfast!

I was starving by the time we hit Minneappolis. I went to the very first place that looked good, and got a chicken salad.

Sounds good, right???

It was awful!

I was so hungry I ate every peice of lettuce there was,, I paid $12.00 for that mess!
But, I was in a hurry to catch the next plane.

Only this time the food offered on the plane was even better....
not only did we get a cracker,
we were offered a teeny tiny bag of.....

by now I am really glad I ate all that salad, I was famished by the time we got to Detroit!

We arrived at thr Leaderdog school just in time for dinner!

It was chilli!

good chilli!

I just got a tour of the School.I
really liked the work out room...
get this...........

it has a Erg Machine!!

I will hit it tomorrow..
So, there are 19 people in my class.

6 of them are from............

boy, did they come a long ways!

There is one other deaf blind guy, I have not met him yet as people are still coming in,...

But, tomorrow, I hope to go and see the Kennels.

There is 14 acres here!!
I am told that there is another snow storm coming in and 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected!!

Now is a good time to get my boots broke in.....

There is a lot more stuff, I will try and get some pictures.

Right now, tho I feel like I am going to fall on my face

I will check in with you later..

Tune in tomorrow...

Hi Bon!! Really enjoyed the description of your travel to Michigan and your first impressions of the leaderdog school. I went online to their web site and checked out pictures of the campus and read some of the info about the school. And, WOW! that is a great looking workout room and even better, with an erg. Looking forward to hearing your next installment. When do you get your dog? How is it decided which dog you'll get? I hope you'll be able to send pictures of the two of you. Lynn
